First of all, I can't believe it's been a year since I launched the Middle East Plus Size Fashion Bloggers, which is an online collective of plus size bloggers from The Middle East.
At this point, we are 20 bloggers and the number keeps growing!
I decided to create this collective in order to bring together, under one umbrella, like-minded plus size women, who strive to inspire others, to make changes in society - especially when it comes to plus size fashion and lifestyle in the Middle East - and above all to have fun promoting body positivity and life!

We are currently 10 plus size bloggers based here in the UAE, so we have been trying to plan for exciting collaborations and projects.
As a team, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a new Dubai-based clothing brand called BLUSH. Last month, the BLUSH team invited us to the cutest breakfast meetup at Tea Junction Café in Dubai Festival City Mall. Some of us had never met in person so it was the perfect opportunity to do so and it was so much fun! The best part is we each got to go home with a BLUSH bag as the designer offered us our favorite picks from their Spring/Summer collection. We just couldn't wait to style the pieces and shoot them!

A few months ago, they launched their online store and I must say it is refreshing to see independent designers and entrepreneurs venturing into a world of fashion that caters to all shapes and sizes. BLUSH offers clothes from a size 8UK to 30UK and if you find yourself lost in the size guide, you can always request the pieces you like to be customized to your measurements! I decided to try out this service: I submitted my measurements after picking out this EMILY cute blush floral printed midi skirt (yes, a blush skirt from BLUSH lol). Perfect fit and perfect length!

I actually wore this outfit on my birthday. We spent it a beautiful resort in Saadiyat Island: the hubby spoiled us rotten! I couldn't resist and so I had to take advantage of this cute terrace by our room, for blogger homework. The sea breeze and the beautiful scenery all added to the serenity of the location.
