30th Birthday! | Istanbul, Turkish Escapade

This past week has been nothing but blessings, happiness and fun!
Hubby planned a surprise trip to Istanbul for us to celebrate my 30th birthday!

I not only had an amazing week but a great month! I have been spoiled rotten for the past 4 weeks! So I am hitting a huge milestone but hey - it is not so bad after all. Many bloggers and women, in general, kept telling me how wonderful and fulfilling the thirties are in a woman's life. I can't wait to experience that :) As for the fantastic trip, everything was falling so smoothly into place. I had an amazing time in Istanbul with my husband and my 3 year-old son. The weather was beautiful. Sunny and cold. A refreshing getaway...

La semaine dernière, c'était que du bonheur!
Mon mari a bien joué ses cartes: un voyage surprise à Istanbul pour fêter mes 30 ans!

Je n'ai pas seulement eu une semaine incroyable, mais un super mois! J'ai été pourrie gâtée pendant ces 4 dernières semaines! Je passe le cap de la trentaine et - j'avoue - ce n'est pas si mal après tout. De nombreuses blogueuses rondes, des amies et des femmes, en général, me disaient comme la trentaine était une phase généreuse en émotion, en succés et maturité. La femme est resplendissante à ce stage de sa vie. J'ai hâte de découvrir tout ça :) J'ai passé un moment incroyable à Istanbul avec mon mari et mon fils de 3 ans. Il faisait beau pendant tout notre séjour: Ensoleillé et froid. Une escapade tout à fait rafraîchissante ...
