Eat The World DXB (Burj Park)

2:24:00 PM

Last night at Eat the World DXB at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai - part of the Dubai Food Festival

With food trucks coming all the way from London, they brought the best international and local street food to Downtown Dubai, together with top food products, celebrity chefs, live music, and
entertainment in a unique, family-friendly day out.

I was so excited and mainly looking forward to meet two of my favorite chefs there and I did!

We first did a quick tour of the space and spotted all the amazing food trucks. Street food has a special appeal that is hard to pinpoint. It comes naturally to any foodie, right? It is also in the diversity that is offered hat you find comfort and eventually something to your taste.

Not only was it a great outing with my boys, I was surprised that kiddo enjoyed some of the chefs cooking demonstrations we attended; he sat through most of it lol which is great! Super dad - hubby - on the other hand was the one following him around while I was enjoying watching the demos.

I met one of my favorites chefs Suzanne Husseini What a beautiful and passionate soul she is! When she took the stage, it was all about fusion, cooking with love and all the fun doing it!

The awesome Andy Bates was assisting her which added that extra sprinkle of chill attitude to the presentation! He told us that he had decided to be the moderator this time. Less pressure, more fun, giving himself the opportunity to observe, watch the other chefs share their cooking experiences and input on some traditional - or not so traditional - recipes.

Fusion was a key word in Suzzane's demonstration. Scones with an Arabian twist YUM!
Of course, we had a taste and it was delicious!

I even got a signed copy of "When Suzanne cooks"!

I truly recommend it as a family outing, whether in early afternoon or for the evening session.
