Supermodel EMME - Women & Fashion FilmFest | 'What Does Your Body Want to Say to the World?'

11:40:00 AM

NEW YORK, NY
- November 13, 2015--Supermodel and internationally recognized advocate for positive body image, EMME, will be showcasing never-before-seen clips from her upcoming documentary #BodyBeaUtiful at the Women & Fashion FilmFest.

EMME said:
“I had to find out how people would live their lives differently if they fully loved and accepted their bodies - would they decide to solve world hunger, would they allow themselves to be better lovers, would they get up and move to Australia? This is an amazing opportunity to shine a spotlight on uncensored, raw stories around our bodies.  Let’s start envisioning life where we all wake up each morning, look in the mirror and give our reflection a little wink for the incredible living, breathing body we’ve been given.  If we can start imagining that – we can start moving toward that and then…the possibilities are endless.”

EMME interviewed people from all walks of life and asked them these two questions:  How would life be different if everyone loved their bodies? What does YOUR body want to say to the world? What she discovered might inspire you, shock you and leave your body wanting to shout out its story!

The Women & Fashion FilmFest (WFF), part film festival/part part conference, gathers leaders in fashion, entertainment and media industries to foster social responsibility, give voice and open opportunities for women and diverse artists. WFF is endorsed by UNESCO’s International Council for Film, Television & Audiovisual Communication (ICFT) for its artistic and socially minded programming. The 3rd annual WFF takes place Nov. 12-14 in New York City and will be filmed for Fashion One, an international TV network with 120MM reached. To learn more, visit www.womenfashfilm.com.
