Big is Gorgeous introduces BIG e-Magazine, an interactive online magazine designed exclusively to inspire Asian women with curves! and the first free-subscription based magazine for Plus Size Women in Singapore or perhaps in Asia.Big is Gorgeous was incorporated on 18th February, 2006, by Sharmilah with the mission to:​

• Develop and nurture the plus size community (including youths)
• Organize events, activities, classes, seminars, etc. to meet their various learning, skills development, psychological and physical needs
• Educate the public, canvass and campaign for support from all governmental, community, private, corporate and other non-governmental agencies.
